Jonah was called to preach salvation to Nineveh. Jonah didn’t want to buddy up with Nineveh, he wanted Nineveh exterminated off the face of the planet. Nineveh was the capital city of a Assyria and the Assyrians were a blood thirsty nation. Jonah made his own plans to run in the opposite direction. However, finally, Jonah saw it God’s way.
