Be Confident in Christ, Don’t Shrink Back or the Devil Will Devour You Like a Publix Chicken Sandwich
Confidence
/ˈkänfədəns/
1. the feeling or belief that one can rely on something or someone. firm trust.
Even when you’ve studied for a test you have to take the test with confidence. Even when you’ve prepared for something new, you have to follow through with confidence. It’s your confidence in Christ Jesus that helps you win the day and sleep peacefully at night.
Philippians 1:6 – being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ. Hebrews 10:35-39 reminds us to not throw away our confidence in Christ, or we’ll shrink back to destruction. Speaking of destruction, 1 Peter 5:8 says the devil will devour us, meaning to literally swallow us up if we aren’t focused, alert, and of sober mind. Be confident in Christ for your next step of faith. We hope in what we can not see because we’re confident that Christ is our everything!

Numbers 27:1-2
