Feeding the Spirit and the Team How Our Tiger Chow Crew Fueled Dunnellon’s Game Night At River Life Church, our Love The 352 initiative is more than just a mission; it’s a movement, and our “Tiger Chow Crew” is leading the charge. On Friday, August 23rd, our crew showed up big time for Dunnellon High School’s home football game, making sure that everyone—from the players to the fans—had what they needed for a night to remember. The evening kicked off with our Tiger Chow Crew providing a hearty meal to the football players, cheerleaders, and band members. Special thanks to Julie’s Sub Shop for not only preparing the delicious food but also serving it alongside us. We know that performing at your best requires more than just skill—it takes energy. So before the game even started, we made sure these student-athletes had the fuel they needed to bring their A-game. Before the players headed to the field, Pastor Tom took a moment to share a meaningful devotional with the team. He offered words of encouragement and spiritual guidance, reminding the players that their strength comes not just from their physical abilities, but from their faith and the community that supports them. It was a powerful way to set the tone for the evening, grounding the players in purpose and unity before the big game. Love The 352’s Tiger Chow Crew helps in the Concession Stand. As game time approached, our volunteers didn’t stop. We headed over to the field, ready to support the event in every way possible. Some of our crew took on the essential role of the “chain gang,” managing the signal poles with precision and keeping the game on track. Others headed up to the box, ensuring that everything ran smoothly from above. Meanwhile, the concession stand was buzzing with activity, thanks to our hardworking volunteers. The smell of sizzling food filled the air, drawing fans from the stands to grab a bite before cheering on their team. We served up everything from burgers to snacks, making sure that no one went hungry during the big game. During halftime, we made sure the players had snacks to keep their energy up for the second half.  This night was about more than just football; it was about coming together as a community. Our Tiger Chow Crew was there from start to finish, making sure that everyone—from the athletes to the audience—felt supported and cared for. We couldn’t have done it without the incredible generosity of our Tiger Chow Crew Sponsors, and a special thank you goes out to Julie’s Sub Shop for preparing and serving the delicious meals that kept everyone going strong. At River Life Church, we believe in serving our community with love and dedication, and our Tiger Chow Crew is the perfect example of how we put that belief into action—one game, one meal, and one act of service at a time. Tiger Chow Crew: Fueling Faith and Football At River Life Church, our Love the 352 initiative is all about showing God’s love in practical ways to our community. One of our favorite ways to do this is through our Tiger Chow Crew, where we have the privilege of offering food, service, and devotion to our dedicated student-athletes, colorguards, and cheerleaders during home games. This past Friday, August 16th, was a little different as the team prepared for an away game at Wiregrass Ranch. Before they headed out, Pastor Tom shared a meaningful devotional with the student-athletes, encouraging and uplifting them before they took to the field. His words served as a powerful reminder of faith and resilience, setting a positive tone for the journey ahead. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zi_2D3Ql3yY Pastor Tom Delivers an Inspiring Devotion to the DHS Team. While the team was gearing up for the game, our Tiger Chow Crew was there to support in any way they could. A big shoutout goes to Julie’s Southern Sub Shop for providing and serving the delicious food that fueled our athletes and performers. Celebrating Community: Recap of Friend Day February 2024

Celebrating Community: Recap of Friend Day February 2024 This past Sunday, February 18th, 2024, River Life Church opened its doors wide to welcome friends, old and new, for a vibrant and joyful Friend Day celebration. Despite the weather playing a bit of mischief with our plans, the spirit of togetherness prevailed, making it a day to remember. The church grounds were alive with laughter and excitement as children indulged in face painting and an array of colorful activities. Though the inflatable bounce houses had to sit out this time due to the weather, it didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of our attendees one bit. Plus, the River Life Church Food Truck was on hand, generously providing delicious meals to everyone, adding a special flavor to the festivities. A heartfelt thanks goes out to all the leaders and volunteers whose dedication and hard work made Friend Day truly fantastic. Their tireless efforts ensured that every moment was filled with warmth and hospitality. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the inspiring sermon delivered by Pastor Tom, whose words touched the hearts of all who listened. We were also privileged to have Rikki, a guest speaker, ignite the congregation with a passionate five-minute message that lit a fire in our souls. Stay tuned for more updates and mark your calendars for the next Friend Day event – you won’t want to miss it!

A thrilling home football game between the Dunnellon High School Tigers and their formidable opponents, Vanguard High School. But amidst the excitement of the game, it was the warmth of community and the spirit of legacy that truly shone. Feeding More than Just Hunger The Tiger Chow Crew, known for their unwavering dedication, had a mission that went beyond simply feeding empty stomachs. They set up a banquet fit for champions. The players, coaches, band members, and cheerleaders of the Dunnellon High School Tigers were in for a treat. A Feast for the Soul But the nourishment provided wasn’t limited to the delicious food on the tables. Before the feast began, Pastor Tom, the guiding light of River Life Church, shared a small but impactful devotional with the young athletes. He spoke about the concept of leaving a legacy, encouraging them to consider the mark they wished to leave on the world, both on and off the field. There is Room for Your Legacy in this World Pastor Tom’s words resonated deeply with the young hearts in the room. He emphasized that there is room for your legacy in this world. Any one of the young athletes there could be in the history books 10 or 20 years from now. Even if you don’t make it into the history book, there is room for your legacy. His message wasn’t just a pep talk; it was a reminder that every moment, every choice, and every action contributes to the story they’ll leave behind. Join the Legacy The Tiger Chow Crew’s dedication to making a difference in the lives of Dunnellon High School’s young athletes extends far beyond the football field. It’s about instilling values, building character, and fostering a sense of community that transcends the game. If you’re looking to be part of a ministry that leaves a lasting legacy of love and support, consider joining the Tiger Chow Crew at River Life Church. Sign Up to Volunteer In the end, it was more than just a home game feast; it was a testament to the power of community and the importance of leaving a legacy that goes far beyond any scoreboard. The Tiger Chow Crew continues to be a shining example of how small acts of kindness and inspiration can make a big difference in the lives of our youth, one game at a time.
