We Love First Time Guests

At River Life Church, we love our first time guests so much that you will feel like you’ve been a part of our church for your entire life! When you enter the church lobby, you’ll be greeted by smiling faces and welcoming hearts. If you need assistance with anything, please see one of our HUG (Hospitality, Ushers & Greeters) team members (with the name tags) and they will do everything they can to make your visit outstanding.

What Should I Expect?

Duration: 1hr

Dress code: come as you are.

We take time to praise our Lord with dynamic worship, greet one other and hear from God’s word. After the message has concluded, we like to take some purposeful time to engage in worship and prayer. We do this in conjunction with our prayer time to give you an opportunity to hear from God and respond to His leading. At this time, our prayer team members would be happy to pray with you. Otherwise, we invite you to continue in worship with singing, meditation and prayer.

 
 

When Should I Be There?

Adult & Youth Sunday School: 10:00am
Sunday Service: 8:30 am & 10:00 am and 11:30 am
Wednesday Youth Ministry: 6:30pm
Wednesday Adult Bible Study: 7:00pm

We also have several other Bible studies and opportunities for you to engage with God throughout the week. Please check our Events Calendar for times and details.

What About My Kids?

Check in is at table with Guest Check In.

We have something for children and teens! On Sunday, we invite your children and teens to participate in the music portion of the worship service. After that, children grades K-5 are dismissed to Children’s Church with Children’s Leader Tracey Baldeo.

On Wednesday nights at 6:30pm, The CURRENT Youth Ministry takes over the fellowship hall for a time of fun, food, worship and Biblical teaching. The CURRENT also does various outings each month.

We are part of a fellowship of churches called the Assemblies of God. We have adopted The 16 Fundamental Truths as listed by the Assemblies as our own core doctrine.

Statement of Faith

The Bible:
We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God. - 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21

The Trinity:
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. - 2 Corinthians 13:14; Luke 3:22

The Rapture:
We believe in the blessed hope, the rapture of the Church, at Christ’s coming. - Titus 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

Repentance:
We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. - 1 Peter 1:18-19; 1 Corinthians 15:3

Salvation:
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. - Luke 24:47, 49; John 3:3-5; Romans 10:13-15

Healing:
We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross also provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. 1 Peter 2:24; Psalm 103:2-3

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit:
We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit is given to believers who ask for it. - Acts 2:4; Acts 2:38-39

Sanctification:
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. - Acts 2:42; Galatians 5:16

Resurrection:
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, one to everlasting life, and the other to everlasting damnation. - John 5:28-29; Revelation 19:20
