The mission is to fulfill the Commission.
Jesus was unquestionably motivated by the greatest love ever expressed, but He was also moved with purpose. Luke 19:10 to seek & to save the lost; Matthew 28:19,20 to disciple the saved; Matthew 9:37,38 to to deploy the disciple.
Jesus passed the purpose on to us: Matthew 28:19 also in Matthew 14:12 they put the go in the Gospel! We are (co) missioned to all three of these works. Matthew 5;16 let our light shine (lead by example), Galations 6:10 do good to all people, Matthew 9:38 pray for God to send laborers
