Jesus is the Champion of My World | Week 2 | Tom Golden

Pastor Tom Golden continued our journey exploring Jesus as the Champion of our world in this week's powerful sermon. Delving into Hebrews 12:2, Isaiah 42:13, Exodus 15:3, and Judges 6:11, he reinforced the concept that a champion in Hebrew means someone standing between us and our enemies, and Jesus fulfills this role in our lives.

Encouraging us to fix our eyes on Jesus, Pastor Tom highlighted the joy that awaited Him as He willingly went to the cross, securing our freedom from sin. He emphasized that our endurance through struggles, fueled by faith, leads to the ultimate joy beyond suffering.

Drawing parallels with the enemy's tactics to steal, kill, and destroy, Pastor Tom reminded us that allowing Jesus to stand in front of us empowers Him to fight our battles. The story of Gideon in Judges illustrated this truth, showcasing how Gideon, though initially hiding in fear, became a mighty warrior through faith, ultimately triumphing over the Midianites with God's guidance. Through these teachings, we are inspired to entrust our battles to Jesus, the true Champion.
